A 5 Day Workshop in Department of Biotechnology at SIT, Tumakuru, Karnataka.

Fermentation processes have been used for generations with in the sector of energy, chemical, material, pharmaceutical and food, however the need for advancement and improvement in energy production is demanding development of novel fermentation concepts. So, Siddaganga Institute of technology is conducting a 5 day workshop for people interested in this area along with a sight seeing program.

The speaker's are high profile with many years of experience in both industry and institutes. This workshop will not only improve knowledge in the area of bioprocess and fermentation but will also teach you how to carry out and control fermentation process at industry scale. It is a great platform to meet people from different organisations and industry and learn about how people work in the area.

Apart from this, Tumakuru is a land where Lord Rama and his wife Sita are said to have rested from their way back from Lanka. A land whose countryside is dotted with temples, each narrating stories of divine grace. 1.  Fermenter-20 litres, Pilot type

2. Preparative and Analytical HPLC(Shimadzu)

3. UV- Spectrophotometer(Shimadzu)

4. PCR and other supporting instruments like Microscope, etc
